I did not like this film at all and largely due to the Colorado theatre massacre it inspired. "The Dark Knight Rises" is a dark, tedious film with a convoluted storyline. Bruce Wayne, also known as Batman, is again engaged in battle against those seeking to destroy him. This time around the villain is Bane, a masked madman determined to destroy Gotham City. This film dragged too much for my taste and is quite morbid.

37-year-old Scott Smith was arrested in Cleveland, Ohio, after entering a movie theatre showing the violent film "The Dark Knight Rises" with a gun (9mm Glock), ammunition and four knives. An off duty police officer doing security at the cinema became suspicious when Smith brought a large bag into the venue and sat with his back to the wall at the very back of the cinema.

He was arrested shortly after and police discovered Smith was not licensed to carry a gun. A search of his home revealed more guns, ammunition, gas masks and bullet proof vests. This marks the third security alert that has occurred in America at a showing of the "Dark Knight Rises." 

Previously, a fight and stampede broke out in one theatre and threats were exchanged, while in another incident, shots were fired outside the theatre. In Mexico, a masked gunman robbed two theatres showing "The Dark Knight Rises."

This is unbelievable. James Holmes, the mass murderer that shot 12 people to death and injured 58, during a screening of the Batman sequel "The Dark Knight Rises" is demanding to know how the movie ended. He asked an officer at the prison he is being kept in if the person knows how the film ends.

This is ironic. He’s got a lot of nerve. No one tell him how it ends. If he would have sat through the movie like a normal person and not shot the place up, he would know how the movie ended. Or tell him the joker, who he pretended to be during the theater killing, gets the death penalty at the end of the movie (I haven’t seen the film, I don’t know how it ends).

How did his mind descend to this place that he is not asking about the 3-month-old baby he shot at point blank rage or the 6-year-old girl he shot to death - but is asking how the movie ends. It says a lot.

First Lawsuit Filed In The Batman ‘The Dark Knight Rises’ Theater Shooting

The first lawsuit stemming from the mass shooting in Aurora, Colorado, at a screening of Batman 'The Dark Knight Rises' has been filed. Yesterday, Torrence Brown, Jr., who attended the movie during the shooting spree and saw his friend A.J. Boik shot dead, has retained attorney, Donald Karpel, to file suit on his behalf.

TMZ states something the Judiciary Report wrote from day one, the violence factor in the film would lead to Warner Bros being sued, as the gunman, James Holmes, mimicked what he saw in the studios films and an accompanying Batman comic of the same name.

There's been an ongoing competition in Hollywood to outdo each other on whose works can be the most violent, graphic, sexual and or controversial. It has been a descent into madness and mental illness in Hollywood. The Judiciary Report has been warning Hollywood for nearly four years to tone down the graphic violence, among other things, in their films, as some members of the public would try to recreate it, but no one listened and now the worst has happened.

Survivors and family members of deceased victims came face to face with mass murderer, James Holmes, in court for the first time, after his cruel and calculated murder spree at a July 21, 2012 screening of the Batman film sequel "The Dark Knight Rises." 

What Holmes did was sadistic and horribly wrong. It has caused many innocent people a lot of pain. It is clear that Holmes has given himself over to evil. It is tragic that someone with the intelligence level he possesses, chose to devote his mind to such heinous acts.

However, with the mental illness component that has undoubtedly entered the picture, illustrating that Holmes is criminally insane, it is unquestionable that he poses a threat to society and should not see freedom again. As such, he was denied bail. He also confessed he booby trapped his apartment with explosive, which could have killed hundreds. His lawyer is fighting a losing battle.

Holmes is the definition of a "menace to society" as he ambushed and murdered innocent people watching a movie with family, friends and others who are close to them. He shot a baby a point blank range. He killed a beautiful six year-old girl, who had barely begun to live her life. He killed servicemen in a haze of bullets, who didn't die in live combat in the Middle East, but at a movie theatre of all places.

No one deserves to be ambushed like that, especially in a place that is made for entertainment and enjoyment. The survivors must be terrified of the thought of going to the movies again. I tried to picture what those poor people must have gone through and my mind cannot comprehend it. This world is in a mess that something like this happened. 

Hollywood needs to do its part and stop putting sick ideas into people's heads, via music and films that simply go too far, via questionable content. But at the end of the day, Holmes is the one responsible for his actions and he must and I trust, will be held accountable.

After the mass shooting at a movie theater in Aurora, Colorado on July 21, 2012, which left 12 people dead and 58 injured, during a screening of the new Batman sequel "The Dark Knight Rises" box office receipts for the film have come in lower than expected. 

Some initially thought "The Dark Knight Rises" would rival record holder "The Avengers" which is also a superhero film, with $206,000,000 in box office receipts during its opening week. Others pegged "The Dark Knight Rises" would come in with $170,000,000 in box office receipts.

However, the film studio behind the movie, Warner Bros, released sales figures for the film, which indicate "The Dark Knight Rises" grossed $160,000,000 in its opening week, with half of the gross going to theater owners. As such, the film is in the red, regarding production and promotional costs. Forthcoming lawsuits, if litigated properly and hopefully before honest judges, shall push the very violent film even further into the red.

Feedback sections on  many websites and message boards have been filled up condemning Hollywood over the cinema shooting in Denver, Colorado last week, at the hands of former medical student, James Holmes, during a screening of the Batman sequel "The Dark Knight Rises." 

It has been discovered, Holmes acted out scenes from Warner Bros. films "Batman" (and its comic of the same name) and a forthcoming flick from the studio "Gangster Squad" whose trailer has been showing in tandem with the "The Dark Knight Rises." Many journalists and bloggers are stating such violent scenes never should have been filmed in the first place.

The Telegraph newspaper stated of 'The Dark Knight Rises,' "I will attempt to confine my plot spoilers to the opening: the film begins with a heist carried out by men in sinister clown masks. As each clown completes a task, another shoots him point-blank in the head. The scene ends with a clown – The Joker – stuffing a bomb into a wounded bank employee's mouth. After the murderous clown heist, things slip downhill. A man's face is filleted by a knife, and another's is burned half off. A man's eye is slammed into a pencil. A bomb can be seen crudely stitched inside another man's stomach, which subsequently explodes. A trussed-up man is bound to a chair and set alight atop a pile of banknotes. A plainly terrorised child is threatened at gunpoint by a man with a melted face. It is all intensely realistic."

In the December 28. 2009 article Is Hollywood Giving Terrorists Ideas the Judiciary report wrote of a terrorist copying the Hollywood film "The Hitman" regarding an explosive being inserted inside an individual and then detonated. Ironically, this same concept was used as a scene in the very violent "The Dark Knight Rises."

On July 19, 2012, the Judiciary Report wrote about Warner Bros. causing life to imitate art, via the unlawful violation of individuals' "Right Of Publicity." One day later on July 20, 2012, a 24-year-old medical school drop out, James Holmes, did the unthinkable, via making art imitate life, in a story that has shattered many lives and broken people's hearts. Holmes opened fire in a packed movie theatre in a suburb of Denver, Colorado, full of people who had paid to see the new Batman film, which has similar themes (see end of the article for detailed similarities). 

The unsuspecting audience was watching the midnight showing of the new "Batman" film "The Dark Knight Rises" when Holmes ambushed them at Cinemark's Century 16 movie theater in Aurora, Colorado. It was a cruel and brutal attack that he had clearly planned for a while.

Mass murderer James Holmes. If they ever make a film about this tragedy, actor John Kraczynski of "The Office" can play the lead role, as they resemble each other.

Initially, as costumed Holmes, who was wearing a mask like the villain in "The Dark Knight Rises" stood up in front of the movie screen, the audience believed he was apart of the publicity push for the film, until he launched tear gas into the audience, two explosive devices and opened fire.

Holmes used four guns in his attack, among them an AK-47 machine gun, also favored by villains in "The Dark Knight." Among the terrified victims were children, as Holmes shot a 3-month-old baby at point blank range, as well as a 9-year-old (the latter died). Several members of the U.S. military watching the film were injured or killed as well.

After Holmes was detained in the movie theatre's parking lot for the mass killings, he revealed his apartment is booby-trapped with explosives, which could have killed many more people. The apartment complex was immediately evacuated and the bomb squad called to disarm the explosives.   

This story is horrible. What those poor people must have gone through. There is no excuse for this type of conduct but, sadly some in society have become so desensitized to violence, they inflict horrors upon others, while operating in a depraved mental state. This must stop.

"Gangster Squad"

Ironically, a Frank Miller 'Batman' comic from 25-years ago, features a villain entering a movie theatre and shooting and killing people. There are also scenes in the Warner Bros. film "The Dark Knight Rises" featuring members of the public being ambushed and killed by a masked villain. According to the Deadline website, Warner Bros. new film "The Gangster Squad" also has a trailer featuring a theatre of people being riddled with bullets by an assailant and was being shown before "The Dark Knight Rises."

Warner Bros. has pulled the offending "Gangster Squad" trailer, due to the shooting in Colorado, but many are upset over the violence in the aforementioned films. Warner Bros. is going to face a substantial number of extensive lawsuits with serious damages over this incident, especially when parallels are drawn regarding art imitating life. According to the Associated Press:

There are general parallels to the Colorado shooting, "The Dark Knight" and the comic book character:

— Bruce Wayne's drive to become Batman arose from witnessing the deaths of his parents, Thomas and Martha Wayne, at the hands of small-time criminal Joe Chill, who shot and killed them after they had left a movie theater.

— The Batman video game called "Arkham City" takes place in an abandoned movie theatre (The Monarch, outside of which Bruce Wayne's parents were killed).

— In the "Dark Knight" graphic novel by Miller, the Joker slaughters the audience of a television talk show with gas.

— In the same book, a man beleaguered man shoots up a porn theater after being fired from his job, killing three people with a handgun.

— "The Dark Knight Rises" features at least two scenes where unsuspecting people are attacked in a public venue: the stock exchange and a football stadium.

Rush Limbaugh and the Judiciary Report seldom agree, but the site knows better regarding Hollywood unlawfully basing roles on real people's lives, violating individuals' "Right Of Publicity" as ascribed by the law. This time it's 'The Dark Knight Rises' by Warner Bros., starring Christian Bale and Anne Hathaway. 

Warner Bros has been sued in legal cases for illegally using real people's lives and names or very similar versions of their names for film characters, as they are lazy and uncreative. The reviews have been so bad for "The Dark Knight Rises" movie review website Rotten Tomatoes had to suspend all comments on the film. 

Limbaugh stated of 'The Dark Knight Rises', "Have you heard this new movie, the Batman movie, what is it, The Dark Knight Lights Up or whatever the name is? That's right, Dark Knight Rises. Lights up, same thing. Do you know the name of the villain in this movie? Bane.

The villain in The Dark Knight Rises is named Bane, B-a-n-e. What is the name of the venture capital firm that Romney ran and around which there's now this make-believe controversy? Bain. The movie has been in the works for a long time. The release date's been known, summer 2012, for a long time. Do you think that it is accidental that the name of the really vicious, fire-breathing, four-eyed whatever it is villain in this movie is named Bane?" [Link]

The lawsuits and claims against Warner Bros. by different individuals became particularly contentious, as not only did the company break the law with said conduct, they also maliciously added defamatory and disgusting items to the scripts in question, causing real people offensive and damage. Speaking of that, Kabbalah member, Chuck Lorre, is one of the biggest offenders in this regard and he coincidentally works for Warner Bros., who released the 'The Dark Knight Rises.' 

When a deranged Hollywood producer starts using verbatim hacked emails, computer hacking and phone hacking, among other things, as seen in the phone hacking scandal in London, to base his television characters on (see: television show "The Big Bang Theory") it's time for that depraved pervert to go to prison. Look for a terrible scandal to come out of that show. Hollywood truly is the sickest place on the planet.

The reviews are in regarding the 2011 Oscars that took place in Los Angeles, California last night and they are not pretty. Since the site was not nominated for best blog, which really isn't a category, I decided to boycott the show (like I was invited anyway). A little bit of humor, there.
