Trump pouting like a petulant
child after Iowa loss
Republican presidential
candidate Donald Trump got the shock of his life yesterday as he
was soundly beaten by rival Ted Cruz in the Iowa Caucus, via a
vote that is considered a bellwether in determining the next
president of the United States. On the Democrat side, Hillary
Clinton, narrowly beat rival Bernie Sanders, who is the better
candidate of the two. In fact, on the Republican side, Ben
Carson is the best candidate (and overall). Sanders is the best
candidate running on the Democrat side.
Bernie Sanders is demanding a
recount as the vote with Hillary Clinton is almost a tie
Trump has alienated many people
with his hateful comments about Mexicans, Muslims, blacks,
Syrian migrants and the disabled. Someone even sprayed a
swastika on his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Billionaire
Muslim businessmen in other parts of the world are threatening
to pull all investments from America if Trump is elected.
Donald Trump exits the stage
Trump has offended the people of
Britain as well, stating there are areas of the country that
police are afraid to go into due to Muslims, which is untrue.
Trump has also offended Scotland. A university has rescinded an
honorary award he was given (Trump's grandfather is Scottish).
Trump has made so many sexist comments about women that I've
lost count. His racist, sexist rhetoric has cost him voters and
he needs to humble himself and apologize.
Ted Cruz celebrating winning
the state of Iowa
Trump is very anti-foreigner,
making all these offensive statements about immigrants, yet his
third wife, Melania is one. If elected, she would be the least
American first lady in history. She came to America as an adult
and became a citizen 10-years ago. There's nothing wrong with
being an immigrant, but Trump is a hypocrite for his mean
comments on immigration, when his wife was not born or raised in
America and speaks with a heavy accent (there's nothing wrong
with her accent).
Trumps' words come back to
haunt him. Social media is mercilessly mocking Trump for losing
Iowa after all his insults and braggadocios comments.
There is a pressing issue
regarding Cruz. He was not born on U.S. soil. He was born in
Canada to an American mother. To be eligible for the post of
President of the United States, one must be a "natural born
citizen" meaning born on U.S. soil or on an American military
base (as in the case of former Republican presidential candidate
John McCain). Technically Cruz is ineligible to be president of
the United States. Naturalized American citizen Arnold
Schwarzenegger wanted to run for president, but could not due to
this constitutional rule. A lawsuit is pending regarding this
matter.
Side Bar: Never let the
internet see you fail (LOL). Presidential candidate, Jeb Bush,
brother of former U.S. President, George W. Bush, was the
recipient of the most cutting tweet of the night on Twitter.com,
when his logo that contained an exclamation point was turned
into a flaccid penis (I laughed at this so much my stomach
started to hurt LOL):
