Back To The Future (Film Series)
In watching science fiction films such as "Back To The Future
II" and the television cartoon turned movie "The Jetsons"
one is painfully reminded of how far we have not come in terms of
implementing modern advances into everyday life. For all of society's scientific
advances, the world still seems behind and almost primitive at times,
compared to what it could be.

So what's the problem. Lack of ideas (in the mainstream). Lack of
funding (the most inventive scientists often don't work for the biggest
corporations). Lack of cooperation (the government and the core
scientific community sometimes are not on the same page).
