State Department Documents Belong To The People

In the fall out of the Wikileaks case, the Obama Administration and others in Washington with much to hide, slammed the website for publishing State Department cables and other items, showing a massive criminal spree by the U.S. Government, at taxpayers expense.

U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton

Considering the U.S. taxpayers have picked up the tab for what the government secretly did behind the nation's back, the documents are the property of the American people and should be subject to review by the State. The U.S. government does not own America. The American people do.

Wikileaks founder Julian Assange

Therefore, why should Washington cling to taxpayer funded documents for dear life. Oh yea, that's right, the government has been breaking every law it can while wagging its finger at the people telling everyone else to behave.
