According to reports today, the BP oil spill could go on for years. Current efforts to cap the problem, is only capturing 10% of the gushing oil. The Obama administration still has not accepted the majority of the international help being offered to address the oil spill.
It is in the world's best interest that the leak be capped, as an adequate tourniquet is necessary to minimize damage to the environment. We all share the same sea at one point or another and tides will shift the damage.
