Couple Hire Private Investigator To Harass

Evi and Randy Quaid

In another blatant illustration of the lawlessness that exists in Hollywood, Evi, the wife of "Brokeback Mountain" star, Randy Quaid, hired a private investigator to harass the cast of a Broadway show that reported her husband to the Actors' Equity Association, for verbally and physically abusing them. Her husband was subsequently banned for life.

The psychotic couple stayed with the private investigator, who witnessed terrible conduct pour from them, which alarmed her. When she quit, they threatened to have thugs go to her house.

As I've stated before, regardless of the fact private investigator, Anthony Pellicano, has gone to prison for his terrible crimes against innocent people, sick stars and their families continue to seek out PIs to abuse innocent individuals they crazily target in violation of the law.

It is quite cowardly and disgraceful, but that's Hollywood for you.

Private Investigator Files For Restraining Order Against Randy Quaid's Wife

Posted on Sep 01, 2009 @ 02:20PM - Actor Randy Quaid's wife Evi asked a top private detective to investigate death threats against them - but the investigator ended up filing a restraining order against Evi, RadarOnline.com has learned exclusively.

Beverly Hills-based investigator Becky Altringer claims Evi told her to harass cast members of a play her husband appeared in, and also says Evi is "mentally unstable" and using drugs.

In legal papers obtained by RadarOnline.com, Altringer says the Quaids hired her "to investigate possible insurance fraud and threat to their lives on June 5, 2009. I quit working for Evi and Randy Quaid on June 27, 2009."

According to the papers filed in Los Angeles Superior Court, Altringer claims Evi "demanded that I harass the individuals who were part of the Broadway Play, Lone Star Love because they signed a document making allegations against Randy Quaid."

After all 26 members of the Lone Star Love cast claimed Randy physically and verbally abused them, the Actors' Equity Association banned the "Brokeback Mountain" star -- brother of actor Dennis Quaid -- for life and fined him more than $81,000 in February 2008.

In her suit, Altringer says Evi owes her over $19,000 in expenses, and she also threatened "to send some thugs over to remove information from my computer and the personal belonging that she left at our residence."

Altringer also claims that on June 8, 2009, the Quaids were at her home and she saw Evi snorting a white substance...
