At her press conference this morning, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi was asked about the CIA, health care -- and Michael Jackson.
Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee, D-Tex., who spoke at Jackson's memorial service on Tuesday, wants to honor the King of Pop for his humanitarian works. She told those at the service that she had introduced a House resolution honoring him. But it is bound to be controversial. Rep. Peter King, R-N.Y., has been particularly critical of Jackson's lifestyle and the media's coverage of his death, calling the pop legend a "pervert" and "low-life."
Pelosi, however, doesn't want to bring it up for a vote. She says a resolution honoring Jackson would be counterproductive because it "would open up two contrary views."...
