Professor Cornel West, caringly admonished his friend, U.S. President Barack Obama, not to forget the plight of the poor and downtrodden in America. West, like many others, are alarmed at Obama's about face since he has been in office, deviating from many things he said he would do, which he claimed are a priority to him. West warned him not to be drawn in by the elite. You see it too, huh.

Obama has been mixing with certain "powers that be" in the U.S. government, they are leading him astray with very bad advice and if he is not careful, it shall not amount to reelection. He's listening to the wrong people that can't get him back in office. He needs to start listening to the people of America, the populace, also known as the electorate.

For example, individuals at the FBI, CIA and NSA have encouraged Obama to bend and in some cases, break rules in the areas of civil liberties, via conduct he knew to be wrong. He's also allowed some in the corporate sector to sway his decision making in areas that are unethical.

At the end of the day, Obama can proclaim a number of things, but the public is watching what he does, not says and that will determine the vote.

Drastically declining poll numbers have apparently shaken U.S. President Barack Obama, as he is regrouping and reeling in his old team that helped him get elected. It has been reported, the President has again solicited the services of his former campaign manager, David Plouffe.

The Chinese market, replete with 1.3 billion people is a very lucrative one that many strive to get into on a regular basis. However, you have to watch how you undertake such a business maneuver.

For example, the Google controversy in China that Clinton has stepped into, so to speak. I have not seen proof Google has been offensive in their claims, but Mrs. Clinton certainly has been in how she has gone about the matter.

I prefer Democracy to Communism and the latter is not an option for me, but at the same time I realize China is a foreign country with different rules from the Western world. You can't barge in there and tell them this is how it is going to be, Mrs. Clinton. You need to watch what you say to them, before you make things worse for everyone trying to do business in the region.

FBI Agent, Jared Hewitt, is to be extradited to Puerto Rico, to face criminal charges for killing a police officer on the island, during a raid. Previously, there was another FBI related incident in Puerto Rico, where an unarmed man was shot to death. The FBI claims he refused to surrender, while witnesses state they simply opened fire on him.

Why is the FBI always shooting the wrong person. A number of deaths have happened in this manner in America as well. FBI agents have shot civilians, who were innocent. They have also shot and in some cases killed, their fellow agents in the field. They need to revise gun protocols and procedures, as this should not keep happening and so frequently.

Any time something tragic like this happens, it’s a public relations nightmare. Authorities charged an FBI agent with negligent homicide on Friday in the alleged “friendly fire” shooting death of a Puerto Rican policeman during a gun battle with kidnappers last year.

Justice Secretary Antonio Sagardia told reporters that special agent Jared Hewitt is accused of shooting 12-year police veteran Orlando Gonzalez Ortiz during a joint raid to rescue a kidnap victim.

Sagardia said Hewitt is no longer in Puerto Rico, but FBI commanders have assured local authorities that he will soon travel to the U.S. Caribbean territory for the prosecution...

The FBI Owes Muslim Women An Apology

The FBI had informant, Craig Monteilh, corrupting Muslim women, by sleeping with them for information on members of mosques they targeted. He stated, "FBI agents authorized him to record Muslims using electronic surveillance at mosques, homes and gyms and to date and have sex with Muslim women to glean information from them, according to a copy of the lawsuit.

In light of this revelation, the FBI owes Muslim women an apology. The government should be able to conduct surveillance campaigns of any religious or secular group that bears a credible threat to national security, but not by sexually compromising its members.

Regarding Monteilh's lawsuit, I would love to read the files regarding his communications with FBI agents and field offices, to view how they determined this questionable level of surveillance was appropriate, because it is not.

According to the press, "The FBI has declined to say whether Monteilh was an informant for the agency." That means yes, he was an FBI informant and had dealings with them. I've noticed that with the FBI in numerous cases. When it's true, they simply do not acknowledge it or try to play it down, due to public humiliation at their terrible conduct.

The government should pay damages whenever an informant or victim of crime is assaulted and or left for dead by them, due to their criminal negligence. It has happened too many times, to too many people at the FBI's hands, for it not to be true.

Furthermore, what is the logic or legality of constantly hiring informants to commit crimes and spool others into unlawful activity they otherwise would not have engaged in, just so you can solve said crimes, to keep the billions in taxpayer budget money flowing into the Bureau.

Aren't there enough crimes out there for you to solve without constantly creating new ones and engaging in entrapment. Look how many missing kids there are in America. Look how much white collar crime is transpiring, costing the nation trillions and its place in the world.

Something needs to be done about these unethical FBI methods, as it is a dishonorable way to conduct federal business that brings the U.S. government's name into disrepute in America and all over the world.

Global audiences read articles and press releases regarding FBI lawsuits and walk away with a horrible impression of the agency, as often the content is so mind bogglingly horrible, due to what the Federal Bureau of Investigation engages in, who would want to deal with them in any capacity after viewing such information.

Why Congress allows their Frankenstein such leeway to commit these crimes is anyone's guess at this point.

Man who says he spied on Calif. mosques sues FBI

Monday, January 25, 2010; 5:37 PM - SANTA ANA, Calif. - A Southern California man who said he spied on mosques for the FBI has filed a lawsuit accusing the agency of letting him go to jail for work he did as an informant.

Craig Monteilh, 47, of Irvine, a fitness consultant, is seeking $10 million from the FBI in a lawsuit filed Friday in federal court in Los Angeles. Monteilh also sued the Irvine Police Department.

Monteilh said he infiltrated mosques for the FBI and gave the agency information about Ahmadullah Niazi, the brother-in-law of Osama bin Laden's bodyguard who pleaded not guilty last year to lying about terrorist ties on his citizenship papers.

But Monteilh said federal and local authorities let him serve time on a theft case related to prior work he did for the FBI and barred him from telling the court he was an undercover informant to clear his name.

"That right there deprived me and violated my right to due process," Monteilh said. "The FBI here is dead in the water. We can prove everything we've alleged by subpoenaing these records."...

The FBI has declined to say whether Monteilh was an informant for the agency.

Monteilh said he began posing as a new Muslim convert to infiltrate Southern California mosques between July 2006 and October 2007. He claimed that FBI agents authorized him to record Muslims using electronic surveillance at mosques, homes and gyms and to date and have sex with Muslim women to glean information from them, according to a copy of the lawsuit...

7-Year-Old Brit Raised $195,000 For Haiti

An extraordinary 7-year-old British boy, Charlie Simpson, raised $195,000 for earthquake victims in Haiti, via gaining sponsorship for riding his bicycle in favor of donations for each mile covered.

The money Simpson has raised through his efforts, goes to UNICEF's Haiti charity for kids. He stated, "My name is Charlie Simpson. I want to do a sponsored bike ride for Haiti because there was a big earthquake and loads of people have lost their lives. I want to make some money to buy food, water and tents for everyone in Haiti."

That is so sweet. I think I'm gonna cry. To date, Britain has raised roughly $100 million dollars for Haiti.

Avatar Sales Status Questioned

Box Office Mojo has questioned the claims "Avatar" is the best selling film of all time. When adjusted for inflation it is not. Hollywood has raised ticked prices each year to make up for the fact that less people are going to the movie theaters.

Movie tickets used to be $4.50 in the 1980's and now the price has more than doubled to $10.50. They are overcharging the public, while bragging of alleged record-breaking revenues. Some studios also inflate their numbers, to steal the number one on Sundays, when box office tallies are announced. Sony and Warner Bros are notorious for this misconduct.

What this means is, to keep the kind of large profit base they desire, they have raised ticket prices so high, significantly less numbers of people are actually seeing the finished product, which is the film at the theatre. But they only care about the money, not moviegoers on the whole.

It really is not fair to films such as "The Ten Commandments" and "Gone With The Wind" that pulled in far more moviegoers to theaters than current movies claiming to be the best selling of all time.

He lavishes expensive gifts on his sons in conduct other celebrities have done. But it is not in the best interest of children that parents do so.

Already, the public has seen Justin Combs dirty dancing in an adult nightclub at age 14, with a woman old enough to be his mother. We've seen the younger, underage Combs and his brothers dancing inappropriately in a YouTube video that was later pulled.

When one views the wrecked the lives of children belonging to wealthy parents, one understands why kids should not have everything they ask for, nor should they be spoiled with a constant stream of expensive gifts.

They disrespect minorities and the poor, using racial slurs and disses in calling people broke, when they've lived their lives off an ancestor's business they had nothing to do with building or expanding.

They fritter their time away doing foolishness, not contributing anything significant to humanity. Paris now earns a questionable living off porn DVDs and other salacious products, disgracing the Hilton name.

Kids need boundaries, discipline, structure, modest allowances and work ethic. Giving them huge allowances will ensure the money shall go to unorthodox and unhealthy things - such as drugs and expensive items that attract trouble.

Giving kids everything in life, without making them work for it, shall ensure they will go through life believing everything must be handed to them. If the money disappears, they will be dysfunctional and without support or any real meaning or understanding of the world around them.

This is why Hollywood seldom raises successful children, who don't grow up to be depraved lunatics. There are some children of Hollywood stars that turned out okay, but it is usually the older stars who are in their 60s and higher.

It's one thing when one disciplines one's child, raising them with good values and the understanding of hard work and integrity, yet they rebel, even for a time. But it's quite another spoiling them, as that is pushing them into trouble.

Children need to be trained in the ways of decency and protected from unsavory influences. Given Sean Combs' track record in influencing people's children, there is reason to be concerned for his kids (for further reference, see singer Usher, who stated Combs exposed him to a wild lifestyle of drug use and threesomes with women, when he was only 15-years-of-age). Stop exposing them to your lifestyle of sex, drugs and rock and roll. You are gong to end up raising wasteful, weed smoking gigolos, wreaking havoc on young women. The Lord will take that up with you.

"Different Strokes" actor, Gary Coleman, has joined his fellow child star cast members in being arrested for an unlawful offense. Actress, Dana Plato, was arrested on drug charges and later died of an overdose. Actor, Todd Bridges, was arrested on drug charges in a separate incident, but turned his life around and became a Christian.

Coleman has to decide which road he is going to take, in light of his recent arrest. He previously faced charges for hitting a woman that asked him for an autograph. Some anger management would be helpful as well.
