"Authorities: Tiger Woods Seriously Hurt in Crash"

The world's most famous golfer, Tiger Woods, met in a car accident, in front of his home in the Isleworth gated community, of Orlando, Florida. It was 2:25 AM in the morning and Woods hit a fire hydrant in front of a neighbor's property, then crashed into a tree.

His wife broke the back window of his black 2009 Cadillac Escalade, with a golf club, to get him out of the vehicle and on to the side walk. When police arrived, Woods was laying on the sidewalk, slipping in and out of consciousness, as the airbag reportedly did not deploy, when he hit the hydrant and the tree. Police stated alcohol was not a factor in the accident and the golfer was treated and released from a local hospital.

The mere fact he was reportedly slipping in and out of consciousness, says he sustained a head injury of some kind, which can effect one's memory and coordination. The most important thing is Woods survived the accident by God's grace and should look at it as another chance to be with his family.

Recently, his fairly young marriage has been under strain, due to infidelity rumors, which he has refused to comment on. A woman known for sleeping with rich and famous men, has claimed she had an affair with Woods during his marriage. She should back off, leave him alone, desist trying to ruin his marriage and ask God for forgiveness. Hopefully, his marriage will survive this story of infidelity.

Woods' wife clearly cares for him, as she smashed the car window to get him out of the vehicle. Stick with your wife, Tiger. She is the mother of your children and the one you made a vow to before God.

Police chief: Woods' wife helped after accident

Tiger Woods was injured early Friday when he lost control of his SUV outside his Florida mansion, and a local police chief said Woods' wife used a golf club to smash out the back window to help get him out.

The world's No. 1 golfer was treated and released from a hospital in good condition, his spokesman said. The Florida Highway Patrol said Woods' vehicle hit a fire hydrant and a tree in his neighbor's yard after he pulled out of his driveway at 2:25 a.m.

Windermere police chief Daniel Saylor told The Associated Press that officers found the 33-year-old PGA star laying in the street with his wife, Elin, hovering over him.

She told officers she was in the house when she heard the accident and "came out and broke the back window with a golf club," he said. "She supposedly got him out and laid him on the ground. He was in and out of consciousness when my guys got there."

He said Woods had lacerations to his upper and lower lips, and blood in his mouth; officers treated Woods for 10 minutes until an ambulance arrived.

The Florida Highway Patrol said Woods was alone in his 2009 Cadillac when he pulled out of his driveway from his mansion at Isleworth, a gated waterfront community just outside Orlando.

The patrol reported Woods' injuries as serious, although Woods spokesman Glenn Greenspan issued a statement that Woods was treated and released.

The patrol said alcohol was not involved, although the accident remains under investigation and charges could be filed.

Left unanswered was where Woods was going at that hour. Greenspan and agent Mark Steinberg said there would be no comment beyond the short statement of the accident posted on Woods' Web site.

Saylor said his responding officers did not hear anything about an alleged argument between Woods and his wife...

Camilla was taking part in a discussion with victims of sexual violence during a visit to a rape crisis centre when the topic turned to how music videos affect teenagers today. She told an audience of women that children thought they could get away with things because teachers failed to punish them.

Referring to the images children are exposed to, the Duchess said: 'A lot of those videos are terrifying. 'I am sure they trigger a response in some of the young people. I can never understand how they can get away with making those things.'

During the discussions, the subject turned to a controversial video by pop singer Beyonce, who is particularly popular with young girls.

The tables are turning on faux singer, Rihanna, as her woman beating boyfriend, Sony's Chris Brown, is set to make an appearance on "Good Morning America" on the ABC network, to tell his side of the story. ABC's "20/20" program previously aired Rihanna's side of the story, where she contradicted herself three times. The interview was rejected by the public, with many feedback commenters stating it turned them off from Rihanna.

What began as a harvest celebration between European settlers and indigenous communities nearly four centuries ago has become our cherished tradition of Thanksgiving. This day's roots are intertwined with those of our nation, and its history traces the American narrative.

Today, we recall President George Washington, who proclaimed our first national day of public thanksgiving to be observed "by acknowledging with grateful hearts the many and signal favors of Almighty God," and President Abraham Lincoln, who established our annual Thanksgiving Day to help mend a fractured nation in the midst of civil war. We also recognize the contributions of Native Americans, who helped the early colonists survive their first harsh winter and continue to strengthen our nation. From our earliest days of independence, and in times of tragedy and triumph, Americans have come together to celebrate Thanksgiving.

A reporter was angry with U.S. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, at the Obama Administration's first state dinner this week, held in honor of India's Prime Minister, Manmohan Singh. The reporter politely asked Pelosi if she was wearing an Armani gown, to which the House Speaker rolled her eyes and gave her a disdainful look.

The reporter then snapped, "What was that look." I guess Pelosi didn't want to appear superficial as a politician, in caring about things such as fashion labels, which she clearly does or she wouldn't get dressed up in glamorous clothing.

Researchers in MIT's Touch Lab have developed BlindAid, a system that helps the visually impaired "feel" their way around a virtual model of a room or building so they can familiarize themselves with an environment before entering it.

The BlindAid system builds on a device called the Phantom, developed at MIT in the early 1990s and built for production by SensAble Technologies. Phantom is effectively a robotic arm that the user grasps like a stylus which can create the sensation of touch by exerting small, precisely controlled force on the user's fingers.

Flash forward to BlindAid. The BlindAid stylus functions like a blind person's cane, allowing the user to "feel" virtual floors, walls, doors and other objects. Google removed the image from its search results, which was an unusual move. But then, they put the image back, referring to it as free speech and apologize for its offensiveness. The photo is on other sites, as some web users have made the photo into an avatar.

SAN FRANCISCO — Google Inc. is apologizing for a racially offensive image of the first lady that appears at the top of the list when users search for pictures of Michelle Obama on its site.

Google placed a text ad above the image titled "Offensive Search Results" that states "Sometimes our search results can be offensive. We agree." ...

"We apologize if you've had an upsetting experience using Google," the company wrote...The Google letter says "a site's ranking in Google's search results relies heavily on computer algorithms using thousands of factors to calculate a page's relevance to a given query."...

This is not the first time Google has apologized for content in its search results. The company issued a similar response in 2004 when the top result for the term "Jew" pointed to an anti-Semitic Web site.

Google won't exclude distorted Michelle Obama image from its site

'We have, in general, a bias toward free speech,' a Google spokesman says, explaining that offensiveness alone is not a reason to remove the image from the search index.

A crudely altered photograph of Michelle Obama, which often comes up as the first result on a Google image search of her name, will not be removed from the company's search process despite protests that the depiction is racist and repugnant.

Blog Misidentified As Spam

Someone flagged my fairly new Google Blog www.aishamusic.blogspot.com as "spam" and is trying to have it deleted. It is currently under review by Google, who sent me two emails in three days on the subject.

Apparently my fairly new blog, which has been online for four months, grew too much, too fast, with too many readers and too much visibility, for someone's liking and they are seeking to destroy my Constitutional rights to free speech, by whining to Google.

Someone sent a complaint to Google, deceitfully labeling my blog "spam" when I don't send out emails from or regarding it, write all its original content to give my sites RSS capabilities for those of you that like feeds and only post lawful content. Some small minded person, is trying to silence me, whilst defying the Constitution and it's not a good look.

I have seen countless sites with content that I do not agree with, regarding politics, entertainment and current events, but I don't go complaining to the blogs' host, trying to violate someone's right to free speech, in lying to have it removed from the internet, as that is juvenile and crazy. Grow up, already.

Fort Hood Suspect Mulling Insanity Plea

Nidal Malik Hasan, the suspected Fort Hood shooter, that claimed the lives of 13 people and wounded 48 others, is currently mulling an insanity plea. I do not think his request in this regard should be granted. He should not be allowed to plead insanity. He should plead evil, as that is what led him to destroy innocent lives.

He opened fire on unsuspecting people that trusted him, who were seeking help for their depression and others working in a place they thought they were safe. They didn't deserve to violently die in this manner and as such, the plea should be denied, as his deeds are acts of Jihad.

Manufacturer Knew Vioxx Was Bad

In distressing news, it appears the manufacturer for the now recalled drug, Vioxx, knew it was harmful years before they pulled it from the market. Vioxx was giving consumers heart attacks and strokes, but because it was generating billions in yearly revenues, the manufacturer did not recall it.

Sometimes when manufacturers put products on the market, even after extensive testing, they really do not know of the product's possibly hidden defects. But it is quite another thing putting or continuing to put harmful pharmaceuticals on the market, knowing full well, trials revealed potentially terrible side effects. A decision was made to put profits ahead of public health.

Rofecoxib (Vioxx is the brand name) was a blockbuster drug. Vioxx was used especially to treat painful arthritis. Its annual sales grew to over $2 billion (£1.2 billion). In 2003, more than 2 million prescriptions for Vioxx were dispensed in England alone.

Scientists Call For Drug Database

Yesterday, scientists called for a drug database, to monitor the effects of individual pharmaceutical drugs on the public. It makes sense and I am in agreement with it. God willing, a database can help prevent medical tragedies.

In the Judiciary Report articles Good And Bad Pharmaceutical Drugs on November 19, 2009 and Off Label Use on November 21, 2009 I made reference to the many complaints I found online regarding the terrible drug Topamax and its generic evil twin Toprimate, whose horrible side effects include Acidosis, as some sites such as www.medications.com currently offer public feedback. In the July 21, 2009 article Celebrity Prescriptions, I also wrote of the need for a comprehensive drug computer system to prevent the abuse of prescription meds.

By and large, most drug makers are not criminally negligent and knowingly releasing bad products, but some are and measures need to be taken to weed out those faulty, potentially deadly medications as soon as possible, since some companies will not police themselves.

Most scientists mean well. When a scientist develops a cure, he or she is not usually thinking of how much money they will make, but how many people's health and lives will be improved.

Public Database Is Urged to Monitor Drug Safety

Published: November 23, 2009 - What could be done to prevent another Vioxx? This pain medication for arthritis became a blockbuster after its introduction in 1999, only to be taken off the market in 2004 when a study linked the drug to an increased risk of heart attack and strokes.

A new study published Monday in Archives of Internal Medicine offers an ambitious proposal to determine a drug’s risks sooner than they might otherwise become evident. The authors propose a system to examine widely prescribed drugs through safety analyses that would pool data as they emerge from various clinical trials of a medication and aggregate the information for a fuller picture of a drug’s harms and benefits.

As policy makers in Washington push for various forms of evidence gathering to determine the safety and effectiveness of medical treatments, the study proposes a broad model for monitoring drug safety that would consist of detailed publicly available data that independent researchers could freely analyze.

Such a database could be continually updated and aggregated with new information, as the results of new studies were published, to calculate a near real-time balance sheet of a drug’s risks and benefits.

Dr. Joseph S. Ross, the lead author of the study, said the objective of the researchers was to determine whether this kind of sequential cumulative analysis could serve as a new model for monitoring the safety of drugs after they enter the market.

“How could we be doing post-market surveillance in a better way?” said Dr. Ross, an assistant professor of geriatrics and palliative medicine at Mount Sinai School of Medicine in Manhattan. “For drugs that we are concerned about, that are high risk, this could be a blueprint going forward.”...

The current global warming scandal, regarding hackers breaking into the computers at a British research facility in the University of East Anglia and releasing emails, revealing scientists colluding to manipulate and suppress data, that is contrary to their point of view, is being met with calls for government probes.

Abusing the earth is not a good idea, but some really took global warming to the limits, costing many a great deal of money, inconvenience and guilt.

The revelation of a concerted effort among select, global scientists to silence critics, who have been debunking aspects of the global warming paradigm, violates many international treaties on free speech and free press, not to mention human rights charters, expressly forbidding depriving people of employment and a good name.

Climategate: how the MSM reported the greatest scandal in modern science

November 21st, 2009 - ...E-mails allegedly written by some of the world’s leading climate scientists have been stolen by hackers and published on websites run by climate change sceptics.

The sceptics claim that the e-mails are evidence that scientists manipulated data in order to strengthen their argument that human activities were causing global warming...

But what it does demonstrate is the growing level of public scepticism towards Al Gore’s Anthropogenic Global Warming theory. That’s why, for example, this story is the single most read item on today’s Telegraph website.

What it also demonstrates – as my dear chum Dan Hannan so frequently and rightly argues – is the growing power of the Blogosphere and the decreasing relevance of the Mainstream Media (MSM).

This is not altogether the MSM’s fault. Partly it is just the way of things that more and more readers prefer their news and opinion served up in snappier, less reverent, more digestible and instant for.

But in the case of “Climate Change”, the MSM has been caught with its trousers down. The reason it has been so ill-equipped to report on this scandal is because almost all of its Environmental Correspondents and Environmental Editors are parti pris members of the Climate-Fear Promotion lobby. Most of their contacts (and information sources) work for biased lobby groups like Greenpeace and the WWF, or conspicuously pro-AGW government departments and Quangos such as the Carbon Trust. ...

A very kind judge, Jeffrey Spinner, wiped out the mortgage of a couple, who refinanced their home that was eventually foreclosed on in Long Island, New York. The judge was not pleased with the bank's treatment of the couple, who have lived in the property for many years.

Published: 12:06AM GMT 26 Nov 2009 - A New York judge was so angry with a bank's "harsh, repugnant, shocking and repulsive" behaviour towards a financially struggling couple that he wiped out their $525,000 (£316,000) mortgage.

In an unusual legal decision that may cheer ordinary homeowners but dismay lenders, Judge Jeffrey Spinner took a tough line on a California-based bank that he considered had been determined to foreclose on the couple's home in Suffolk County, Long Island.

His ruling against OneWest and its IndyMac mortgage division has relieved Greg Horoski and his wife, Diane Yano-Horoski, of the $291,000 they owed on the original loan as well as $235,000 in interest.

OneWest took $814 million in federal bailout money but has a reputation for foreclosing quickly on property owners who falls into arrears...

He wrote that OneWest's conduct was "inequitable, unconscionable, vexatious and opprobrious", cancelling the debt to deter it from "imposing further mortifying abuse" against the couple...

Mr Horoski, a porcelain doll seller, told the New York Post : "I think the judge felt it was almost a personal vendetta. It was like dealing with organised crime."
