U.S. President Barack Obama woke up early this morning to salute 18 fallen American soldiers that died in combat in Afghanistan. "Dignified Transfer" The President was present at the U.S. airbase for what is known in military circles as the "Dignified Transfer." Some stated in print and online the move was a PR stunt, while others proclaimed it an effort by the Commander-in-Chief to show the public he is conscious of the sacrifice being made by the troops serving in the military. U.S. President Barack Obama War is a bloody business and most people want it to end, as no one is winning in this futile battle. My condolences to the bereaved. |

Isn't it amazing how members of Congress (and the President) cave in to lawbreaking FBI Director, Robert S. Mueller's browbeating, simply because he has dirt on so many of them. He gives them one of these looks and then gets away with murder...literally:

Continuing the Judiciary Report's ongoing theme of denouncing the escalating violence in Hollywood programming, a recent study released this week revealed violence against women, teens and children on television is up by as much as 400%. The entertainment industry is delusional if it believes this does not have a negative impact on society.
There are ways to portray or imply violence on screen when it is integral to the movie or TV show, without it being overtly violent and gory.

I was watching a Hollywood movie on TV the other day and out of nowhere, the most violent scene occurred. I thought to myself, was that an eyeball that just flew across the screen? I mean, was that really necessary. Why be so graphic.

Several months ago, I was watching a TV show on BBC America called "Jekyll" which I don't recommend by the way. It was a remake of the classic tale "Jekyll and Hyde" but with a very sick, violent, unexpected twist.
For example, there was a scene in which a government rep went to speak to a man with a genetic issue and out of nowhere, he started behaving like a literal devil and slit the civil servant's throat with his fingernail, blood flying everywhere, this ugly, gaping wound appearing on screen, with the man struggling to breathe, falling to his knees and dying.
I was appalled and disgusted. And this program was on TV at about 8PM. All that gore and violence was disturbing and unnecessary. I was sorry I watched it.
Study: TV Violence Against Women Up 120%
Published: October 28, 2009 - Violence against women is increasing on TV, according to a new study from the Parents Television Council -- and its leaders are urging network exec to step in suggesting the violence could desensitize youths and cause incidents like the “horrendous gang rape” of a woman last weekend in Richmond, Calif.
“A wave of media violence is hitting the public like a tsunami,” said PTC president Tim Winter. He said not only are incidents of violence against women and girls increasing in storylines, but the violence is getting “more graphic and more gruesome.”
PTC’s study tracked depiction of “female victimization” and violence on primetime broadcast TV from 2004 to 2009, focusing on sweeps periods in February and May each year. It didn’t study cable, saying it didn’t have enough staff.
The study noted that depiction of violence overall has changed little over the years -- up 2 percent from 2004. Depiction of violence against women, however, was up 120 percent.
It said 29 percent of the incidents were beatings, 18 percent credible threats of violence, 11 perdent were shootings, 8 percent were rapes, 6 percent stabbings and 2 percent torture -- but that in 92 percent of the incidents, graphic violence against women was depicted, not just implied...

Wed Oct 28, 2009 4:24pm EDT - LOS ANGELES, Oct 28 (Reuters) - Incidents of violence against women on mainstream U.S. television has increased by 120 percent in the past five years, with the depiction of teen girls as victims rising by some 400 percent, the Parents Television Council said in a report on Wednesday.
The conservative media group said it was particularly disturbed by the use of violence against women in comedies and said it hoped TV networks and advertisers would stand up against the trend.
"I hope the industry will look at our data and be as shocked as I was," PTC president Tim Winter told reporters..
Obama Accused Of Playing Political Favorites
A politician playing favorites with donors and top fundraisers, giving them special perks, if you know what I mean! Nooo! This is unheard of! Who knew such a thing existed! If you can't tell by now, I'm being sarcastic.
However, the head of the Republican Party, Michael Steele, is as serious as a heart attack, in accusing U.S. President, Barack Obama, of impropriety, in playing political favorites, lavishing favors and special treatment on his top donors, fundraisers and political benefactors.

Presidents are not to do certain things, but let's be honest here, they do. I don't agree with it, but they do. However, it appears, President Obama just happened to get caught, as did Clinton.
And as crooked as former President George W. Bush was and particularly former Vice President, Dick Cheney, two men that called a very bloody war to steal oil, who you know were throwing around favors behind the scenes like Madonna and Demi Moore at a plastic surgeon's office, several Commanders-in-Chief are guilty of this.

During his first nine months in office, President Obama has quietly rewarded scores of top Democratic donors with VIP access to the White House, private briefings with administration advisers and invitations to important speeches and town-hall meetings.
High-dollar fundraisers have been promised access to senior White House officials in exchange for pledges to donate $30,400 personally or to bundle $300,000 in contributions ahead of the 2010 midterm elections, according to internal Democratic National Committee documents obtained by The Washington Times.
One top donor described in an interview with The Times being given a birthday visit to the Oval Office. Another was allowed use of a White House-complex bowling alley for his family. Bundlers closest to the president were invited to watch a movie in the red-walled theater in the basement of the presidential mansion.
Mr. Obama invited his top New York bundler, UBS Americas CEO Robert Wolf, to golf with him during the president's Martha's Vineyard vacation in August. Steele demands investigation into alleged WH perks for top Dem donors
10/28/09 09:40 AM ET - Republicans called for an investigation into allegations that President Barack Obama gave top donors special access to the White House on Wednesday.
The Republican National Committee (RNC) demanded an investigation into a report published in The Washington Times that top donors to the Democratic National Committee (DNC) had been rewarded with access to privileged White House tours, behind-the-scenes briefings and other perks.
RNC Chairman Michael Steele said that the White House had effectively become a "full-service resort" during Obama's tenure, likening the alleged access to the benefits former President Bill Clinton had offered to some friends and top donors during his time in office.
"The seriousness of this issue requires an immediate investigation looking into the degree and details of fundraising efforts between the White House and DNC, whether there was any quid pro quo offered to donors, and the names of White House officials who were involved in such activities," Steele said Wednesday in a statement...

According to the dad of her grandchild, former Vice Presidential candidate, Sarah Palin, referred to her baby, who has Down Syndrome as "retarded."
Vindictive Levi Johnston stated former Alaska Governor Palin, came home after work one day and said, "Where's my retarded baby." Why he would seek to say such a thing publicly is anyone's guess.
Johnston has been on a cruelty campaign against Palin, even disclosing details about her sex life with her husband Todd Palin, which is none of his concern.
Johnston, clearly seeking to make a quick buck, in any inappropriate manner he can, is also posing for Playgirl magazine. When he grows up, his son by Palin's daughter, is not going to be happy knowing his dad posed nude for a magazine. He also will not be happy to learn his dad sold out his grandmother.
