Obama's Plea To Banks

"Video: Obama: Banks Need to Help Small Businesses"

After flooding banks with more cash than is safe for the economy, U.S. President Barack Obama, is now imploring said financial institutions to lend to creditworthy small businesses, in a bid to unclog the revenue block that has gripped the corporate sector.

As mentioned previously, a handful of corporate conglomerates gobbled up many smaller companies, then collapsed due to crooked business practices.

Yes, sometimes mergers and acquisitions are a bad thing, as smaller companies become soulless and bland.

Congress Passes Gay Rights Bill

Congress has passed a gay rights bill that, "Extends hate crime protections to gays." It also includes crimes, "Based on gender, sexual orientation, gender identity or disability.

Republicans were concerned and rightfully so, that said bill would attempt to regulate speech regarding gays and violate people's Constitutional right to freedom of religion and freedom of speech, as homosexuals have attempted to use existing legislation, to unlawfully silence those that peacefully disagree with their lifestyle choices.

It was stated, "At the urging of Republicans the bill was changed to strengthen free speech protections to assure that a religious leader or any other person cannot be prosecuted on the basis of his or her speech, beliefs or association."

Congress extends hate crime protections to gays

WASHINGTON — Physical attacks on people based on their sexual orientation will join the list of federal hate crimes in a major expansion of the civil rights-era law Congress approved Thursday and sent to President Barack Obama.

A priority of the late Sen. Edward M. Kennedy, D-Mass., that had been on the congressional agenda for a decade, the measure expands current law to include crimes based on gender, sexual orientation, gender identity or disability. The measure is named for Matthew Shepard, the gay Wyoming college student murdered 11 years ago.

To assure its passage after years of frustrated efforts, Democratic supporters attached the measure to a must-pass $680 billion defense policy bill the Senate approved 68-29. The House passed the defense bill earlier this month.

Many Republicans, normally staunch supporters of defense bills, voted against the bill because of the hate crimes provision. All the no votes were Republicans except for Sen. Russ Feingold, D-Wis., who supported the hate crimes provision but opposes what he says is the open-ended military commitment in Afghanistan.

"The inclusion of the controversial language of the hate crimes legislation, which is unrelated to our national defense, is deeply troubling," said Sen. Jeff Sessions, R-Ala...

The FBI says more than half of reported hate crimes are motivated by racial bias. Next most frequent are crimes based on religious bias, at around 18 percent, and sexual orientation, at 16 percent.

At the urging of Republicans the bill was changed to strengthen free speech protections to assure that a religious leader or any other person cannot be prosecuted on the basis of his or her speech, beliefs or association.

"Nothing in this legislation diminishes an American's freedom of religion, freedom of speech or press or the freedom to assemble," said Sen. Ben Cardin, D-Md. "Let me be clear. The Matthew Shepard Hate Crimes Prevention Act targets acts, not speech."

That didn't convince Sen. Jim DeMint, R-S.C., who said the bill was a "dangerous step" toward thought crimes. He asked whether the bill would "serve as a warning to people not to speak out too loudly about their religious views."

Tony Perkins, president of the conservative Family Research Council, said the measure was "part of a radical social agenda that could ultimately silence Christians and use the force of government to marginalize anyone whose faith is at odds with homosexuality."

The defense bill is H.R. 2647.

FBI Lagging Behind In Terrorism Cases

FBI Director Robert S. Mueller

The FBI was rebuked by the Justice Department's inspector general, Glenn Fine, for allowing 47,000 hours of audio files in terrorism cases, to pile up without being translated, which is very dangerous. How can they claim the country is safe and they have failed to translate tens of thousands of hours of wiretapped calls, presumably containing conversations by Arabic suspects.

Sibel Edmonds

This supports an item covered on the site a couple years ago, regarding what former FBI employee, translator and current whistleblower, Sibel Edmonds, stated on television, regarding her former supervisor at the Federal Bureau of Investigation, telling her to let work pile up, to enable the agency to extract more taxpayer dollars from Congress, by claiming they are understaffed.

Report: FBI not reviewing all of its evidence

WASHINGTON — The FBI is still not reviewing reams of evidence collected in counterterrorism cases, and has fewer translators than it did a few years ago, an internal government watchdog said Monday.

Glenn Fine, the Justice Department's inspector general, issued a report Monday finding flaws in the FBI's translation and evidence review efforts. FBI officials responded by saying the inspector general overstated the problem by double-counting wiretap recordings that are shared with more than one bureau office.

The 131-page report says that since 2003, the FBI has not reviewed about 47,000 hours of audio files in counterterrorism cases — the equivalent of a single recording running for five and a half years straight. The bureau says the real backlog is only about a tenth of that, or 4,770 hours — 200 days worth...

Madoff Conspirator Found Dead

Police: Madoff associate found dead at bottom of pool

This is a follow up to the September 28, 2009 article titled "Liquidators Hunting Madoff's Millions" which mentioned a "Mr. Picower" and a "Mr. Chase" as two men believed to be in unlawful possession of massive chunks of the Madoff ponzi scheme money. One of the two men has died.

Ruth and Bernard Madoff

Jeffry Picower, a man that unlawfully made $7,000,000,000 from the Bernard Madoff ponzi scheme, was found dead in his pool at his Palm Beach, Florida mansion. Currently, police do not suspect foul play. His lifeless body was discovered yesterday at 1:30PM.

Picower's passing should make it easier for the Madoff trustees to freeze and seize well over $7,000,000,000 from his estate and disburse the liquidated assets to victims of the ponzi scheme.

Picower broke the law and as such, all his assets are liable for federal seizure and liquidation, to repay those that were defrauded in the scam.

Side Bar: I cannot fathom what this man is going to tell God on the other side, regarding why he unlawfully kept several billion dollars of stolen money that plunged innocent, hardworking people into poverty, after they worked hard all their lives to earn said savings. He should have returned the money and asked God for forgiveness.

Madoff's family needs to voluntarily surrender the money they are illegally sitting on, as does "Mr. Chase." Because if any of them suddenly dies, whilst wrongfully retaining the stolen money, their souls will be lost for eternity. You need to ask God for forgiveness and give the money back, as it is not yours. Stop prolonging the victims' suffering, as God will not bless you for it.

Police: Madoff associate Jeffry Picower dies at 67

PALM BEACH, Fla. — Jeffry Picower, a philanthropist accused of profiting more than $7 billion from the investment schemes of his longtime friend Bernard Madoff, was found at the bottom of the pool at his oceanside mansion and died Sunday, police said. He was 67.

Picower's wife, Barbara, discovered his body and pulled him from the water with help from a housekeeper, authorities said. He was pronounced dead at Good Samaritan Medical Center at about 1:30 p.m...

Steve Phillips Fired From ESPN

Steve Phillips

This is a follow up to the October 24, 2009 article "What Were They Thinking" regarding ESPN sportsanchor Steve Phillips and the adulterous sex scandal surrounding him. Mr. Phillips was fired the next day, as was his mistress, Brooke Hundley.

It has been revealed, this was not Phillips' first affair on the job, as he was in a similar situation in 1998, for which he was sued.

Brooke Hundley

Therefore, to his adulteress, Brooke Hundley, contrary to what you cruelly wrote to his wife, you really, "Were just some girl he was having sex with in parking lots" as he's done this before. However, he stayed with his wife, not you.

Adulteresses take note. Most men love their wives. Just because they cheat, does not mean the extramarital affair means something to them. However, said conduct is wrong.

Spain Bans Saw Sequel

Lionsgate is the producer of the sick "Saw" films

In the September 24, 2009 article titled "Megan Fox Goes Quiet" the Judiciary Report slammed the violent and grotesque "Saw" films. Yesterday, it was announced, the Spanish government has "banned" the "Saw" films.

Directors need to be held accountable for the films they release. To be afforded said podium and introduce such sick, mentally disturbed trash to the world through it, is contemptible.

SPAIN BANS NEW SAW MOVIE

23 October 2009 12:07 - Spanish film officials have banned the latest gruesome SAW movie from cinemas by giving it the same rating as explicit porn films.

The new picture, the sixth in the Saw franchise, revives the hunt for gory serial killer Jigsaw and features scenes of graphic violence as the body count rises.

The gruesome scenes have disturbed bosses at the Spanish Culture Ministry's Film Institute, who have made the unprecedented move of handing the film an 'X' rating. The classification means the picture will miss out on a nationwide release - as there are only eight theatres in the country which are licenced to show 'pornographic' material...

Rihanna Rips Off Another Artist

Rihanna (left) Eva (right)

Chronic copyright thief, Rihanna, has once again ripped off another artist. As mentioned previously on the Judiciary Report, Rihanna criminally stole my preexisting copyrighted song "Russian Roulette" slapped it together with a 1998 wrestling CD cover and stole her forthcoming album title "Rated R" from a 1990s title by Ralph Tresvant of New Edition. Now, it has been revealed, she stole her new image from Dutch singer Eva. Previously she stole from FeFe Dobson.

ECW - October 1998

Rihanna - October 2009

Copyright infringement is a crime under domestic and international law. It is illegal to rip off movies, music, photos, artwork, CD covers, song download photos and articles, to name a few.

Rihanna's whole career is an absolute fraud. You will not be remembered well for it and history is going to correct itself. She's currently being slammed all over the internet, due to said unoriginality.

Real artists don't steal or borrow, the latter being semantics. True artists innovate and create.
