President Obama’s Press Secretary, Robert Gibbs, insists the commander in chief’s health care bill is bipartisan and fair to all.

However, critics still rage that the bill is going to prove very costly to US taxpayers and drastically increase the national deficit.

Aug 19, 2009 - AUBURN The White House says President Obama still wants a bi-partisan health care bill, despite news reports that congressional Democrats are thinking of using their House and Senate majorities to push through a bill on their own terms.

"The president has said countless times he will work with anybody in any party," said press secretary Robert Gibbs.

Gibbs pushed back on reports that some officials in the White House agree that Republican opposition may block any health care bill, so they are also starting to think about a Democratic-only initiative.

The press secretary told reporters that the parties agree on about 80 percent of health care reform. But that last 20 percent is tough, including the ongoing kerfuffle over a publicly financed health insurance option...

Michael Jackson To Be Buried On Birthday

Tragic singer, Michael Jackson, is scheduled to be buried on his birthday, August 29, at Forrest Lawn Memorial Park in Glendale, California. He is to be interned in a private mausoleum, only accessible to family members and property staff.

Jackson’s last doctor, Conrad Murray, who was also the physician of singer James Brown, before he too suffered cardiac arrest and died, is proclaiming his innocence.

Michael Jackson, was as the Los Angeles government affidavit states, a drug addict. Murray, Arnold Klein and several other doctors should not have been giving Jackson the drugs he wanted, in abundant supply, fuelling his addiction.

Jackson was addicted to painkillers and anesthesia, classic symptoms of someone seeking to escape a harsh reality of life. Other doctors facilitated those drug cravings as well. They are all guilty of overmedicating him, at his request. They should not have been so free with their prescription pads.

However, at the end of the day, Michael Jackson and only Michael Jackson, needed to once and for all acknowledge, he needed help with his addictions that were spiraling out of control. You have to want to quit and stick with it.

Jackson was taking drug cocktails containing more pills than an AIDS patient, though he did not have the disease.

Michael Jackson will be buried in a private service at Forest Lawn-Glendale on Aug. 29, a spokesman said in a prepared statement Tuesday. Guests will be limited to family and close friends...

The spokesman said Jackson will be buried on the Holly Terrace at the cemetery's Great Mausoleum. The cemetery's Web site describes the mausoleum as featuring replicas of works by Michelangelo. It also features a stained-glass re-creation of Leonardo da Vinci's The Last Supper.

Nothing against the city of Los Angeles, as it is beautiful, but Hollywood the industry is full of lunatics. They are the craziest people on earth (for further proof click here and here). If Pattinson wants some normalcy in the entertainment industry, New York is the place.

In other Pattinson news, the actor is denying having a girlfriend. That’s not what that kiss with Kristen Stewart looks like, but he probably doesn’t want to break a lot of hearts, so he’s denying it.

Brad Pitt Is A Weed Smoking Liar

Brad Pitt has been caught in a lie, outed by none other than his buddy, director Quentin Tarantino, for stating he gave up smoking marijuana when he had kids. Tarantino stated this week, Pitt recently offered to split a block of weed with him.

Three months ago in this Column, I wrote about his partner Angelina Jolie, still grappling with illegal drug cravings (hint hint), after having abused her body and mind, with various narcotics for years.

While, I’m not fan of the Jolie Pitts, here’s hoping they kick the addiction for the sake of their six children, as being raised by unreformed addicts is destructive.

19/08/2009 - The Hollywood star - who could apparently roll a spliff better than Bob Marley - insisted he had given up his herbal habit when he became dad to Angelina Jolie's brood.

He said of his spliff-rolling skills at the time: "I'm an artist at it, what can I say. But I'm a dad now, you have to be alert." However, after telling the lovely Ange he had put his pot-smoking days behind him, bad Brad's pal Quentin Tarantino went and grassed him up.

The director went on Howard Stern's radio show to reveal Brad offered him drugs during a meeting for his Inglorious Basterds film.

He told the American shock jock how Brad "pulled out a brick of hash" during their meeting to discuss the film at his French home.

Then when Brad passed him an empty can of coke to use as a pipe to smoke the weed, the Pulp Fiction legend said: "Yeah, I know what to do with this."

Ange will not be Jolie pleased...

Mariah Carey Gets Desperate

Mariah “Karaoke” Carey, reeling from the failure of her current Eminem diss single “Obsessed” which was the lead off to her forthcoming album due in September, is going to enrage classic rock fans everywhere, by remaking the 1980’s Foreigner tune “I Wanna Know What Love Is.” I was listening to that song just the other day.

That tune is a classic, but watch Carey butcher and ruin it, with her now decimated, irritating voice, much like she did in the terrible remake of the Phil Collins mega-hit “Against All Odds.”

It’s a sad day when a man with less octaves than you allegedly have, sings his song a million times better than you.

It will serve as further proof Carey is not creative and relies on taking other people’s music or making sub par remakes of songs that were already huge hits, in bids at stopping her career from dying.

Side Bar: the tracks “Angels Cry” and “It’s A Wrap” are not Carey’s, though they’ve illegally ended up on her forthcoming CD. God doesn’t like ugly, Mariah and will not bless you for it.

August 18, 2009 | 12:40 pm - Perhaps realizing that the focus should be less on Mariah Carey's feud with Eminem and a bit more on the pop diva, more hints were dropped today about the singer's upcoming "Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel." The ad-supported album, which was originally set for Aug. 25, is now due to be released Sept. 29.

The second single from Carey's "Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel" will apparently be a cover of Foreigner's "I Want to Know What Love Is" (perhaps tackling "Don't Stop Believing" would have been a too-obvious choice of pandering).

The news was first reported by Roger Friedman, and his article has since been posted on Carey's official website.

This isn't the first time Carey has covered an '80s ballad -- see her take on "I Still Believe" above. The latter gave Carey yet another top 10 hit, a status that has thus far eluded her "Obsessed."...

The defense attorney for blogger and white supremacist, Hal Turner, who was a paid FBI informant, stated the Bureau paid him to incite other bloggers into engaging in felonious conduct.

Sounds like entrapment. The FBI is very good at that. When will the FBI learn, crimes are created not fabricated.

“His job was basically to publish information which would cause other parties to act in a manner which would lead to their arrest.”
