There was some confusion this past weekend regarding President Barack Obama's health care initiatives and the allegation he was backing away from the public option.

The White House stated yesterday, Health and Human Services Secretary, Kathleen Sebelius, misspoke, which led to the confusion. Still, some are insisting Obama is "retreating from the public option" of his health care plans.

August 16, 2009 | 3:20 p.m. - Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius says a government-run insurance option is not essential to President Obama's healthcare goals.

Reporting from Washington - The Obama administration continued to back away from a government-run insurance option today, with Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius saying it is "not the essential element" of healthcare overhaul.

She, and other White House surrogates on the Sunday talk shows, indicated that the public option is not indispensable. But finding a way to keep insurance affordable is.

"I think there will be a competitor to private insurers," Sebelius said. "That's really the essential part, is you don't turn over the whole new marketplace to private insurance companies and trust them to do the right thing."

White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs agreed. "What I am saying is the bottom line for this for the president is, what we have to have is choice and competition in the insurance market," he said.

And a day earlier, President Obama himself said that "the public option, whether we have it or don't have it, is not the entirety of healthcare reform." ...

Administration Official: "Sebelius Misspoke."

Aug 16 2009, 9:11 pm by Marc Ambinder - An administration official said tonight that Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius "misspoke" when she told CNN this morning that a government run health insurance option "is not an essential part" of reform.

This official asked not to be identified in exchange for providing clarity about the intentions of the President. The official said that the White House did not intend to change its messaging and that Sebelius simply meant to echo the president, who has acknowledged that the public option is a tough sell in the Senate and is, at the same time, a must-pass for House Democrats, and is not, in the president's view, the most important element of the reform package...

"Nothing has changed.," she said. "The President has always said that what is essential that health insurance reform lower costs, ensure that there are affordable options for all Americans and increase choice and competition in the health insurance market. He believes that the public option is the best way to achieve these goals."

A third White House official, via e-mail, said that Sebelius didn't misspeak. "The media misplayed it," the third official said...

Usain Bolt Sets New World Record

Jamaican sprinter, Usain Bolt, smashed the world record that was his own, running the 100 meters in Berlin Germany, in 9.58 seconds, which was incredible. Congrats to him and all the sprinters, as you are all the best in the world to have even made it there to the finals.

Due to his astonishing speed, Usain is the kind of dude you'd want on your team during a relay... or bank robbery (just kidding).

Sunday, August 16, 2009 - Far behind in second was Tyson Gay, whose 9.71 would be the fastest ever were it not for Bolt. Teammate Asafa Powell (who has run 9.72, third fastest of all time) came in behind Gay. So in this race Bolt smashed his own record from Beijing and destroyed the #2 and #3 fastest sprinters of all time. Bolt is the greatest of all time!

The Real Overextended Housewives of Atlanta is descending into such debauchery. I know they want ratings, but to resort to such fighting and deviousness to get it, sets a terrible example.

Adulterous housewife, Kim Zolciak, who isn't even married, has been outed as a racist, who uses the word "nig*er" often. Not good.

Her former, angry, gay publicist, Jonathan Jaxson, a man she sued, who counter-sued her and is the same guy, racist blogger Perez Hilton, was stalking as a love interest, told all her business on The Wendy Williams Show.

It is rather sad that she would use a racial slur behind their backs, in spite of the fact, she claimed her black co-stars are her friends.

I also thought it sad that two of her black co-stars reportedly tried to fight her, as two black women ganging up on a white woman doesn't look good either.

There is too much underlying racial tension going on, coming from both sides and it is not cute. The show didn't need to go in that direction.

Jackson also stated Zolciak was a stripper and currently sleeps with married men for money to pay her luxury bills. Not a good example to set for her two young daughters.

He further stated, NeNe Leakes, was a stripper, who met her husband at a strip club. He referred to her and castmate, Sheree Whitfield, as broke.

To think, many watched the show marveling at their lavish lifestyles, while others coveted it, not knowing how they got their money.

Another housewife, Lisa Wu Hartwell, is industrious and carries herself well, but has been facing money problems, further diminishing the show's illusion of wealth.

Deshawn Snow, who is a Christian, was the one true housewife on the show that did seem to have money, due to her husband's lucrative NBA career, but was kicked off the program for being too nice. DeShawn, after watching some of your former castmates fight, getting booted was a compliment.

Atlanta has so many wealthy families of every color, why did the producers not screen applicants to see who truly was in the money and who was not, before they cast the show.

The show is becoming the ghetto fabulous version of "Dynasty."

Kerry Katona's Privacy Violated In Drug Binge

Former Atomic Kitten singer and reality TV star, Kerry Katona, who has struggled with a drugs problem, was surreptitiously and illegally filmed in her own bathroom, by someone who unlawfully placed a hidden camera in there, hoping to catch her in misconduct, which was posted to the News of the World website. The video shows her snorting cocaine in her bathroom.

Whoever placed said camera in her bathroom, in criminal violation of international law, should go to prison, as that is thoroughly illegal, sick and a gross invasion of privacy.

You slam her for having a drug problem, yet you are far worse, as to have accomplished this perversion, you had to break an entry (burglary) and engage in voyeurism, two very serious crimes, that are a popular crimes among Hollywood celebrity cults like Kabbalah and Scientology.

News of the World, as some of you may recall, is one of the papers that belongs to News Group Newspapers, who I formally sued and reported to the Metropolitan Police in 2005, due to Madonna's serious misconduct against me (illegal commissioned hacking and wiretapping) unlawfully using data from my preexisting Copyrighted Catalog, then forthcoming columns and my phone calls between government workers and business associates and myself, illegally mining my calls for tips and converting them to be stories about herself.

She then released said converted articles to News Group Newspapers for publicity, in conduct they knew of, but went along with anyway, which constitutes several felonies.

The Metropolitan Police deferred to the FBI in my case, stating I am in their jurisdiction (America), but the next month, they did open an investigation into News Group Newspapers in Britain, which six months later, yielded the arrest of an editor and two writers, as it was discovered they were also illegally hacking and wiretapping the British royal family and several entertainers.

If you also remember, I previously accused Madonna via her crazy Kabbalah cult, of installing a hidden camera in my home, during one of several break-ins to my property, where members of her cult, illegally went into my home studio, going through my files and discs, looking for copyrighted CD-ROMs, containing preexisting intellectual property, such as newer copyrighted music, songs, video scripts and movie scripts, her hacker couldn't get to because they were offline.

A week and a half after I filed a police report on the missing discs (I have back-up copies), Madonna began illegally releasing items from the preexisting copyrighted CD-ROMs, but attributing them to herself and her cronies.

I wrote recently about the appalling ESPN Erin Andrews hidden camera case. ESPN is owned by Disney and several of their stars are in Kabbalah and have been the subject of nude scandals involving voyeurism.

Hollywood is sick and depraved, believing because they are famous, the law does not apply to them and they can illegally go into people's homes and install hidden cameras to get their nasty, mentally ill kicks.

That's when they are not unlawfully wiretapping and hacking people, as was clearly illustrated in the Anthony Pellicano case.

Do you have any idea how absolutely nasty and deviant it looks on you as an industry, placing illegal, hidden cameras in people's homes and hotel rooms. It is not something to be proud of. It sends a nasty message to everyone that you are severely mentally ill and driven by absolute perversion and madness.

12:30 AEST Mon Aug 17 2009 - A star of hit British TV series Footballers’ Wives has been arrested after more than $300,000 worth of cocaine and cannabis was uncovered at a home where she allegedly lived.

Actress Holly McGuire was charged with conspiracy to supply cocaine, cultivating cannabis and money laundering.

The 31-year-old former glamour model is alleged to have plotted with a friend, Steven Brace, to supply up to three kilograms of cocaine.

Officers who searched the home in Essex, eastern England, also claim to have discovered a "cannabis factory" of 56 plants at the address, as well as $240,000 in cash in the boot of a luxury car in the garage, according to UK newspaper the Daily Mail...
